Up for sale is a gorgeous, authentic 1950s women's designer feather half hat by Chapeaux by Madeleine Jost (Reading, PA). This premium mid-century statement piece features a stunning array of densely layered, natural gamebird feathers—including spotted guinea fowl and iridescent pheasant plumage—in a rich autumn palette of olive green, copper, black, and cream. The design features a beautifully stylized flair feather accent extending from the back, adding elegant movement and authentic mid-century drama.
The underside is crafted on a clean, structured vibrant green wool felt base with a scalloped edge and features the original woven silk designer label securely stitched inside. The structured calot cap shape is designed to contour beautifully along the crown or back of the head.
